I had a pretty good time at Purgatory Lodge, but it wasn't without its quirks. The slope-side condo was a definite highlight, and the staff were super friendly, which made my stay enjoyable. However, there were a few issues with the condo's layout and some facilities that could use improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The condo was right on the slopes, but the layout felt a bit off. The sofa was comfy, but the pull-down bed had some dangerous metal parts sticking out, which was a bummer.
Service
7.0
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from the cleaning crew to the bartenders. However, I had a frustrating experience with the front desk when trying to get info on canceling my reservation.
Location
8.0
Being right on the slopes was awesome for skiing, but the overall location could use better amenities for longer stays. It worked for a short visit, though.
Dining
7.0
The eateries on-site were okay, and I enjoyed the artisan bread, but I'd recommend checking out more options outside for better variety.
Facilities
6.0
The pool and spa were nice, but the lighting in the condo was way too dark, making it difficult to relax or even see what I was doing in the wardrobe.

I had a solid stay at Purgatory Lodge. The room was great, and the location couldn't be better for accessing the trails. However, I did face a little hassle when the TV didn't work in my initial room, leading to a move that was a bit of a pain. Overall, it was still a fun trip.

I had a pleasant two-night stay overall, though there were a few aspects that could use improvement. The space had a newly updated feel. but the layout didn't quite flow, making it less comfortable than I had hoped. The staff, especially Alexis, were very courteous, but the cancellation policy was quite strict and a bit frustrating.

Rooms

The apartment felt recently updated but had a few design issues. The settee was comfortable, yet the pull-down bed posed safety concerns with protruding metal. There wasn't enough hanging space, and the lighting was too dim for reading.
Service
7.0
Alexis at the front desk was professional and courteous. though I did find one of the staff members less helpful when it came to maintenance issues, which was a hassle.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient, directly across from the trailhead I needed, which was perfect for my plans.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were satisfactory and reasonably priced for a mountain venue, with some decent desserts available.
Facilities

The pool and spa were fine and added a nice touch to the stay, though I didn't use them extensively.

I had a good time at Purgatory Lodge, though it wasn't without its quirks. The views from my corner condo were absolutely stunning, and the cleanliness was great. However, I did run into a couple of annoying things like thin walls and an outdated sofa bed. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a short stay if you plan to be out and about.

My stay at the Purgatory Lodge was a nice experience. The condo was slope-side, which made skiing incredibly convenient. However, I felt the cancellation policy could have been explained better, as there were some confusing details. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and look forward to coming back.
